Is Grizzl-E Club worth it? Check the fit, not just the headline.
The Club can be appealing if you need connected home-charging hardware and accept its ongoing conditions. It can be a poor match if installation, Wi-Fi, active-use, data, ownership or return obligations do not fit your home.
This is a terms-based decision guide, not a hands-on product review, membership decision or provider rating. Current official terms always control.
It can fit—but only after the practical conditions make sense.
Look closer if: you are an eligible Canadian EV driver with dedicated home parking, need a connected charger, can pay shipping and any required electrical work, can keep the charger online, and expect to use it as your primary charger.
Skip or compare other paths if: you already own compatible hardware, cannot maintain Wi-Fi, charge only occasionally, dislike the data arrangement, or want a charger you own without return conditions. The independent program comparison covers an existing-hardware alternative.
What “up to 15¢/kWh” actually means.
The official announcement is useful news, but it does not mean every member earns 15¢ today. The current base cash-reward tiers remain 3¢–10¢ per eligible kWh; the promotional 5¢ component has separate timing and eligibility.
Starting October 1, 2026, the announcement says eligible Club members earn an additional 5¢ per kWh in Thanksgiving Bonus Points.
The official announcement describes the bonus for members who own their Grizzl-E charger. If your charger is supplied and owned by United Chargers, do not assume this bonus applies.
The announcement says the points are stored in a dedicated bonus account and converted into cash on October 1, 2027.
The 15¢ total combines the 5¢ bonus with the Ultimate level. Lower base tiers produce a lower combined number.

Answer every question before requesting an invitation.
A “no” does not make the Club bad. It means a conventional charger, a program for hardware you already own, or no rewards program may fit better.
Home parking in Canada
Do you have a Canadian installation location and the right to install or use the charger there? A non-owner may need prior written property-owner consent under the terms.

Can you pay for a code-compliant circuit, permit, electrician, panel work or receptacle changes when needed? The hardware offer does not cover these costs.

Can the charger remain connected? The terms permit ten (10) additional charging sessions after Wi-Fi loss, then say charging is disabled until reconnection.

Will this be your regular home charger? Current terms define active use for Club status as a minimum of 4–6 charging sessions per month.

Are you comfortable with charging-session data being collected and shared for Clean Fuel Credit participation? The terms say anonymization is used where possible but complete anonymity is not assured.

Can you accept that a supplied charger remains United Chargers property during membership and may need to be returned if membership ends, with return shipping and related costs governed by current terms?
Good sign: the exit path is acceptable before installation.“No hardware purchase price” is not “no money due.”
Separate what is paid, what may be refunded, and what remains your responsibility.

- Reliable Wi-Fi and recorded charging sessions
- Primary, active charger use
- Compliance with changing Club and reward terms
- A refundable deposit is cash tied up until its condition is met
- A future promotional point is not today’s cash withdrawal
- A displayed referral or charging balance can remain subject to eligibility and review
The exit terms matter as much as the entry offer.
- 01During an active supplied-charger membership
The charger remains United Chargers property. Ending membership does not automatically give the member ownership under the general supplied-charger terms.
- 02If membership ends
The supplied charger must be returned under the applicable process and timeframes. Current terms assign outbound and return shipping costs to the member except where law or another provision applies.
- 03If the entire Club program ends
The June 10 terms describe special treatment based on whether a supplied charger has been used for at least 36 months, including transfer, prorated purchase or return paths.
- 04If charging data is missed
Sessions not captured because of connectivity or technical failures are not necessarily reconstructed for cash rewards or tier progress.
- 05If the offer changes
Rates, promotional eligibility and program structure can change. Re-check the official terms and offer before ordering, installing or relying on future rewards.

Is Grizzl-E Club worth it?
It may be worth investigating if you need eligible hardware and all six practical conditions on this page fit. It is probably not a fit if you need offline or occasional use, unconditional ownership, or cannot cover setup costs.
Does every member earn 15¢ per kWh now?
No. The August 12 announcement describes an additional 5¢ in bonus points beginning October 1, 2026 for eligible members who own their Grizzl-E charger. The 15¢ total requires the Ultimate level, and the extra points are described as converting to cash on October 1, 2027.
Who owns a supplied Club charger?
Under the terms checked August 14, 2026, a supplied charger remains United Chargers property during membership and must be returned if membership ends, subject to the applicable terms and program-end provisions.
