Independent information, named accountability.
Peter Mucha maintains and edits EV Rewards Canada. The site helps Canadian drivers compare conditional home-charging programs without presenting provider offers as government benefits or hiding the operator’s referral interest.
A person—not an anonymous comparison engine—stands behind each page.
Peter writes, maintains and corrects the site’s public guides. EV Rewards Canada is not operated by a charger manufacturer, charging-network company, utility or government department.
Useful first. Verifiable always.
- 01Start with primary evidence.
Material claims are checked against current first-party terms, provider pages and government sources. Search snippets and summaries can help find a source, but they do not replace reading it.
- 02Date volatile claims.
Each factual guide shows when its volatile claims were checked. Rates, eligibility, compatibility and program rules can change, so readers are sent to the current official source before acting.
- 03Separate evidence from interpretation.
When provider copy and legal terms differ in detail, legal terms take priority. The site does not claim a hands-on hardware test unless one was actually performed.
- 04State the limits beside the claim.
The site does not turn a provider reward program into a government rebate, endorsement or guaranteed entitlement. Deposits, shipping, installation, ownership, connectivity, data and exit conditions are treated as decision facts.
- 05Keep commercial influence visible.
Material commercial relationships are disclosed beside the decisions they may affect. The site identifies when Peter may receive referral compensation and when it receives no compensation from a compared provider.
Found a source change or factual error?
Email hermancore1980@gmail.com. Please include the page URL and the statement you believe should be reviewed, plus the relevant first-party source when available.
Corrections are checked against the current primary source before the page is changed. Material updates receive a new checked or modified date; a request from a provider does not override the evidence.
- The invitation form collects only an email address, explicit consent and an allow-listed source label.
- Cost-calculator inputs stay in the browser and are not submitted or stored by this site.
- Aggregate analytics do not receive an email address, consent response or calculator input.
- This site does not sell invitation-request information or add it to an unrelated marketing list.
The referral interest is part of the decision—not fine print.
Peter Mucha is a current Grizzl-E Club member. If a person voluntarily requests an invitation through this site, is approved by United Chargers, activates a qualifying referred charger and remains eligible, Peter may receive CAD $0.01 per eligible referred kWh under the current referral terms.
United Chargers independently decides membership, charger and program eligibility. A request made here is not enrolment, approval, a charger order or a promise of payment. EV Rewards Canada receives no compensation from ChargeLab or SWTCH.
